African Cultural Center: To be Launched
This project is our first priority project for 2024

LemouBafouUsa is working to create in the state of Maryland a community center call: The African Cultural Center. The center will be the hotbed of the Africa culture. People from Africa will come to the center to exibit their culture, remember their past and transmit their heritage to the next generation. The center will also give through the exposition of African arts a better understanding to the American public about the culture of people from Africa. The lemoufestiv2015 Event will be the occasion to promote and raise funds to launch this project.

Bafou Frienship House: To be Launched
Description of the Project:
Lemou is projecting to start and run Friendship Houses serving as Community Centers and considered Haven of Hope in Bafou . There will be a Central Friendship House attached to the Bafou king Palace and one friendship house at each of the 5 sub chieftaincies.
Friendship Houses will serve as :

Collection and Distribution center for donated good

Community point of Access to the Internet and online services

Place for character building and leadership development

Place for Adult Learning and continuing education ( “Ecole sous l’arbre”)

Center for Healthcare education programs

Center for Cultural enhancement activities

Meeting the Chief (Monthly video conference with the chief and Diaspora community over the world).

Medical Equipments to Health Centers at Bafou: Completed

Description of the Project:
Bafou village currently has 10 health care centers. These Community health Centers are created and run by volunteers. All the centers lack basic medical equipments and drugs including for emergency treatment, Lack of income generating activity makes it hard to access to healthcare even for the basic treatment, Mortality rate is therefore very high. With this project we were able to supply these health centers with….

School Books and fournitures to student at Bafou: Completed

Description of the Project:
By the end of the school 2011, bafou had 6750student in the secondary (….) for a total of… These Schools are in very poor conditions and lack basic equipments. Students lack notebooks and other educational accessories. With the support of the same partner,… we were able to assist all the primary, secondary and high school in the village with books and many other school supplies.

Construction of 2 classrooms at Bafou: Completed

This project was made possible by the donation we received during our first convention in 2012. Thank you to all your contributions!!!!
Description of the Project:
We are working in this project with the close collaboration of his Majesty the King of Bafou that we can see in the picture. The goal is to construct two classrooms to help stard a new public secondary technical school. During his last visit in the us, the king call out all the Bafou's to help him build this new school. Our contribution was to answer that call.

Heath Campaign in Bafou: To be Launched
Description of the Project:
LemouBafouUsa
Every year codegba with the help of medical and surgeon from bafou organize a week of health in bafou. During that week, these doctors and nurses will volunteer and take off from their job to come and provide general screaning to people in bafou. For many, this occasion will be the only time they are to see a doctor in a year.
LemoubafouUsa is projecting to join and encourage this initiative by providing medical supplies and other medical basics need to support codegba in their effort to assist bafou.

Clean Water Project: To be Launched

Description of the Project:
Water-borne illnesses are rampant in the developing world, keeping kids sick in bed and out of school, and robbing children of parents. You can join the fight to restore childhoods by providing clean water solutions like wells, hand pumps, and filtration systems. These not only benefit the kids , but the blessing extends to the entire local communities. Our goal is to provide every Home with pure, clean water and your gift of any amount will help us start this project in 2017.
